A friend of mine in high school always used to say "Ignorance is bliss." He had an older brother who was physically handicapped...he was wise beyond his teen years and it took me a couple of decades to understand the depth of that little ditty.... I find that my imagination takes me to very dark places very quickly when it comes to my children.... In many activites, I can extrapolate to the worst in my mind...and then I get scared for my kids.... But I also think that's part of our evolutionary inheritence as women and mothers.... Making sure that we keep our offspring safe, till they are old enough... And alas, we must give our children both roots and wings, as difficult as that task often is.... I guess that is where faith enters the picture... and I confess, I have so very little....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7565601.post-33197293915816196242008-08-15T06:25:00.000-04:002008-08-15T06:25:00.000-04:00I've been talking to my students about how one can...I've been talking to my students about how one can resonate with the written word.
