... and I say to-mah-to...so goes the song my mother used to sing. For some reason, tea and salt are back in the news again in the UK tabloids.  There doesn't appear to be any contemporary hook for the piece, though tomatoes do come up: Use less salt in a cup of tea than you would on a tomato, advised a Reddit user back when the controversy was fresh. I would say, probably a lot less!
